Mentions and recommendations
Measure mentions against valid answers. A recommendation depends on context and reasoning; a brand name alone is not a purchase recommendation or an order.
Accuracy and citations
Check product facts against reference material and mark correct, incorrect or unresolved details. Verify that cited links open and support the relevant statement.
Comparable follow-up checks
Use the same questions, language and agreed conditions. Record platform changes, unranked answers and invalid samples separately. Visibility, recommendations and sales need separate measures.
Every observation leads back to a record.
- Mentions
- Valid answers mentioning the brand / all valid answers
- Order
- Recorded only when the answer explicitly ranks items; otherwise N/A
- Accuracy
- Checked product facts marked correct, incorrect or unresolved
- Sources
- Citation URL, access date and support for the relevant claim
A sample is not market share. Mentions, answer order and sales are separate observations. Platforms and frequency are agreed per project.
